Red Light Therapy

For Healing

Understanding Red Light Therapy

The way that the body heals with red light therapy is by light induced photochemical reactions in our biological systems. This red and near-infrared light is non-invasive, but powerful enough to boost the body’s healing process and to deliver many health benefits.

Live Pain Free

Prescription medications are a quick way to cover up pain, but pain is a symptom, and it becomes problematic because medications don’t fix pain at its source. Healing can take place with red light therapy that relaxes the joints and muscles. Healing can occur with consistent use of red light therapy. This is possible because of the light’s ability to penetrate deeper into skin and tissues, targeting the problem at the source.

Revitalize With Red Light Therapy

Now that more individuals are aware of the long-term dangers of using opioids and other pain medications, the use of red light therapy is becoming more popular. It is quickly becoming the first source that people look to for pain relief while improving their quality of life. Reducing and eliminating the use of NSAIDs and opioids is critical for the mental and physical health of those with chronic pain. One of the most exciting things about Red light therapy is that there are no known side effects.

Whole Body Red Light Therapy

Treating the whole body is important if you want to get the maximum desired result of living a pain free life. This is also true for preventing injuries in the future. Injury to one body part may cause strain on another body part. This is why treating the whole body is important for optimal results.

As a medical provider and past DOH advisor, I recommend red and near-infrared light therapy as a safe and effective therapy option for a variety of health concerns. Red and near-infrared light therapy, often delivered through specialized devices such as red light therapy beds, work by stimulating cellular function and reducing inflammation, leading to improvements in pain, skin health, wound healing, and mood.

Red and near-infrared light therapy is non-invasive and has few side effects, making it a great alternative to medications or other invasive procedures. This therapy has been extensively researched and has been shown to be effective for a wide range of health conditions.

One of the most effective ways to receive red and near-infrared light therapy is through a red light therapy bed. These specialized beds emit low-level red and near-infrared light throughout the entire body, delivering deep penetration and maximum benefits. Red light therapy beds are designed to provide a safe, convenient, and comfortable therapy option, and can be used in a clinic setting or in the comfort of your own home.

Red light therapy beds have been shown to be effective for a variety of health conditions, including:

Z

Pain Relief ~ Red light therapy has been shown to reduce pain in a variety of conditions, including arthritis, fibromyalgia, and chronic back pain. A red light therapy bed delivers light to the entire body, providing deep penetration that can effectively reduce pain and inflammation throughout the body.

Z

Skin Health ~ Red and near-infrared light therapy has been used to improve skin health and treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, and psoriasis. This therapy improves circulation, which promotes skin healing and rejuvenation. Red light therapy also stimulates collagen production, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Z

Wound Healing ~ Red and near-infrared light therapy has been shown to promote wound healing by increasing circulation and reducing inflammation. A red light therapy bed can deliver light to the entire body, providing systemic benefits that can help speed up the healing process.

Z

Mood Enhancement ~ Red and near-infrared light therapy has been shown to improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression. A red light therapy bed can deliver light to the entire body, promoting systemic benefits that can help enhance mood and well-being.

Red and near-infrared light therapy, delivered through a specialized device such as a red light therapy bed, when used properly, is a safe and effective therapy option for a variety of health conditions.

Advantages of PBM (Photobiomodulation)

  1.  It acts on the surface and deep into tissue of the human body with clinically proven outcomes.
  2. It will not cause liver and kidney metabolic dysfunction and normal human flora imbalance.
  3. There are many clinical indications and relatively few contraindications.
  4. It can provide rapid treatment for all kinds of wound patients with accelerated healing.
  5. Light therapy for most wounds is non-invasive and a non-contact therapy for enhanced comfort.

Advantages of Clinically Proven Red Light Therapy

Absorption into certain kinds of tissue (most notably, the tissue where water is present) can interfere with light photons passing through, and result in shallower tissue penetration.
This means ample light photons are required to ensure that the maximum amount of light reaches the targeted tissue — and that requires a light therapy device with calibrated power.

Advantages of specific wavelengths

As the light photons enter the skin, wavelengths interact with the tissues they pass through. By combining the correct wavelengths with clinically verified dosages, the wavelength combination has a significant impact on the cells in the treatment area. Some of the light photons scatter and change direction, creating a “net” effect in the treatment area in which all wavelengths are active.  The overall benefit is also be enhanced when you use a larger light therapy device. While the light energy does indeed dissipate as the light photons pass through the body, these distinct wavelengths work together to “saturate” the cells with more light energy. This spectral output results in an unprecedented synergy that ensures each layer of tissue — within the skin and below the skin — receives the maximum light energy possible.
